"The state revoked the license for Regency Manor Rehabilitation and Subacute Center late last year after a series of health and safety violations, officials said. The facility also lost its Medicare and Medicaid certification in November. But it was when Regency Manor's residents spent at least 12 days without air-conditioning during a sweltering heat wave in July that things turned especially bleak. The facility's 175 patients were relocated to other nursing homes."
"Arbors East, which was fined $19,208 for deficiencies in 2015, has been on the list for a month. The Manor at Whitehall, which has accrued $16,100 in fines since 2013, has been listed for three months. Both have been cited for numerous issues, including abuse, falls, poor treatment, pressure sores, record keeping problems and sanitary issues."
"Earlier this month, the Whitehall home also failed to meet fire and safety regulations."

An Update: March 2017:
We are working diligently to bring you a comprehensive directory with review capability!
Due to the generosity of family, friends and a few compassionate strangers, CareSpotlight has raised to date close to $7k dollars!
Since, we have successfully added more than 25,000 care and service providers - nationwide - to our directory and have made significant progress. However, we need to raise an additional $10k in order to build and launch this nationwide resource.
We are keeping our GoFundMe campaign open and are also seeking to connect with both businesses and individuals for sponsorship and investment opportunities. If you are interested in helping to take CareSpotlight to the next level, please contact Colleen Beard at: 216-659-5519 or [email protected].
Also, we are collecting reviews, provider listings and more that will be published when the directory goes live. Do you have a review to share? A provider that you want to ensure is listed? A personal story to share? A resource to add? A product to promote that could be beneficial to our users? An event to promote? An issue that you need support advocating for/create more awareness? Submit your information to: [email protected].
CareSpotlight has just launched our Visitation & Patient Advocacy Services. While CareSpotlight is a national resource, these services are currently available to patients/residents in Northeast Ohio only. This work compliments our mission and provides founder, Colleen Beard, with the opportunity to help individuals/families directly and experience what is happening in her own community - in both short- and long-term care settings.
Thank you for your support!
Thank you to all of our GoFundMe Campaign supporters!
