"The state revoked the license for Regency Manor Rehabilitation and Subacute Center late last year after a series of health and safety violations, officials said. The facility also lost its Medicare and Medicaid certification in November. But it was when Regency Manor's residents spent at least 12 days without air-conditioning during a sweltering heat wave in July that things turned especially bleak. The facility's 175 patients were relocated to other nursing homes."
"Arbors East, which was fined $19,208 for deficiencies in 2015, has been on the list for a month. The Manor at Whitehall, which has accrued $16,100 in fines since 2013, has been listed for three months. Both have been cited for numerous issues, including abuse, falls, poor treatment, pressure sores, record keeping problems and sanitary issues."
"Earlier this month, the Whitehall home also failed to meet fire and safety regulations."
